Noon to 4 P.M We are encouraging Veterans that have not shared their service information with us to stop by and fill out a form Please bring a picture and we will scan the picture while you wait. Sunday, November 7th from 2 p.m. –4 p.m We will hold an opening reception for our Veterans Day exhibit entitled “ Photographs by George Howard” – George served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in England, Belgium, France and Holland from December, 1944- March, 1946. The pictures include Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. Many of them show the destruction from the war. If you miss the opening reception you can also view the collection of photographs on Weds. afternoons on Nov. 10th, 17th and 24th from 12-4. |

Clara will be impersonated by Mrs. Eleanor Stearns of Geneva The program will be held at the Rushville Methodist Church in the church social room. The free program is being presented as a joint effort by several local Historical Societies. Refreshments will be served. The church is handicap accessible.

Saturday, December 4th – Christmas Open House at the Museum 9am to 12 pm Children may visit with Santa Clause in the old post office building . Organ Music. Refreshments served. . |

Wednesday, Oct 27th, 2010 7pm At the United Methodist Church in Rushville, Preston Pierce, Ontario Co. Historian, will present a program entitled “Bounties, Bonds, Banknotes and Taxes: How the Union financed Victory in the Civil War.” This program is sponsored by the Ontario/Yates Small Museum and Historical Society Group. The program is free and refreshments will be served. |
